Flannel Friday Roundup for Sept. 23

23 Sep

Hi y’all! September’s been a busy month for all of us, but we’re still keeping the flannelboards coming! Here’s this week’s selection:

Tracey at 1234 More Storytimes shares Little Bear, Little Bear, What Will you Wear? complete with a variety of outfits suitable for any occasion. What a stylish bear!

Anne at So Tomorrow asks a question about how holidays are handled at your library as she shares the super-cute My Dump Truck.

Sarah at Miss Sarah’s Storytime joins us for the first time (yay, Sarah!) and shares our first FOAMIE Friday story!: Five Red Apples (complete with darling google-eyed farm animals).

Andrea at Rovingfiddlehead Kidlit shares an oldie-but-very-goodie, Little Mouse in the House. This one’s always a storytime hit!

Sharon at Rain Makes Applesauce shares Counting Duckies, for which she made 6 adorable rubber duckies and SEWED a bathtub (no, it doesn’t look like a swimming pool) complete with bubbles!

Katie at Storytime Katie is celebrating with a Birthday Cake (complete with sprinkles)!

Melissa at Mel’s Desk shares The Mouse and the Apple, from a story by Stephen Butler. I especially like the goose!

From Linda at Notes from the Story Room we have A Few Foolish Friends based on a folktale by Robert D. San Souci.

Nicole at Narrating Tales of Preschool Storytime has a fall classic for us, Fall Is Not Easy. Love that story, and love all the different trees she made!

Kim at Delectable Dabbling shares Drat the Fat Cat, complete with ginormous yellow cat! (She also shares great recipes on her blog, FYI)

Sarah of Read Rabbit Read created a flannel for Linnea Asplind Riley’s Mouse Mess.

And of course, right here at Miss Mary Liberry, we have the noisy story of Mortimer.

Let me know in the comments if I missed you, please! I will add your flannel in ASAP!

Join us again next week for more flannel fun! And check the Flannel Friday Pinterest account for all flannels organized by category.
